RS246's 10 year anniversary (29th December 2012)

Silverstone generally have a track day up until the week before christmas.
Then as with most tracks they are pretty much closed down 'till march time.

Don't worry about the weather - in RWD its a killer but with 4wd it adds to the fun and also dramatically reduces wear n tear.
I'd say that would actually be more of a laugh than a hot summers day with all the fluids and brakes boiling!

I've been round donny as a passenger in a F1 2 seater and how the hell they were racing on there is beyond me!
(just about and possibly under 1 minute on the national circuit - compare to the lap records and even though a 2 seater a very fast car)

Donnington is more central than Silverstone I would suggest for our memeber demographic who are in the Uk and there's nothing like Craner Curves for peeping turtles......

Donington has the advantage of being next to East Midlands Airport if anyone wants to fly in to be ballast and have a P-A-R-T-Y

Just thought i would put this idea in the fire, I live in Daventry which is quite central and we have one of the biggest karting tracks around (wilton mill) I don't mean a quick go on the little karts, we could use there twin engine karts on the full track and a long endurance race (maybe be in teams of various models IE team RS4 B7 etc etc) Maybe even have some prizes and then take over a curry house for the evening, Where close to silverstone and donington where we could all meet for a blast down to the kart track Just a thought, Cheers Tim. (I am up for joining up with what ever you decide to do)

Sounds like a good idea

The challenge seems to be who would come. There's a few takers, but would like to see more people showing positive intent
