Anyone fancy going to Cadwell Park on the 20th July?

Its an open pit event and run by open track. Opentrack events are really good and well run.

Price is £169 at the moment

Im in two minds, if another RS4 would go then I would. Main reason is its close to the National RS4 meet. Would be great to hear 2 RS4 thundering around that track.

You're a top fella Sonny :). Had a superb day looking forward to many more. Awesome laps in Sonny's RS4 and Paul's GT-R. Brilliant!!

Was just about to comment Paul.

Likewise Phil, the B5 awesome machine, still love them and good driving. Now Paul (W8PMC) Was good to meet you, however im impressed that you nearly made me fill sick when taking me out in your 600+bhp GTR, that thing is unbelievable, your driving was amazing. I would not have lasted any more laps. The "Gs" was playing havoc on my head and guts! That machine is awesome. Well done.

Roll on the Ring trip ;)

The GTR are very quick, everywhere there were a couple at Spa last year that left most things for dead.

You tempted to change now?

No Paul, I am very much into my RS4, the GTR is a great car, looks you cant fault, but, the RS4 felt a more raw, the GTR seemed like you was in a flight simulator, a very life like one at that (if that makes sense). Not knocking it at all.

Never been in one so can't really comment, would be interested to have a go in one though, how did you get on with the 888?

Paul, I am over the moon, they was flawless, I was pulling so much speed into the corners, out cornering the Eagle F1s (as expected), Managed over 100 miles on track and they still look fine, I was out for about 20 min intervals, tyres felt good. Im impressed. I even wait out in a mild damp lap to see how they would cope, and they was great. My head is still spinning from the day. GTR and RS4 mayhem :FIREdevil:

The car was spot on, the DS2500 pads (first time used on track) was again flawless, Being able to brake a lot later into the corners. The weight loss out of the car was noticeable, in fact a little dangerous, on route there I put my foot down in few of the lanes and the car just felt so light, that is was like driving a high powered go kart. A quick re-learn was in order prior to pushing it on the track. Overall I was impressed.

Oh and I got so many comments about the car and the sound, from fellow track members and event crew. Long live the RS4 :beerchug:
