The Audi Owners Club is holding an open day at Tonbridge Audi in Kent on the 18th September 2010.

It is an open invite to anyone who owns an Audi, new, old, slow, fast, standard, original, clapt out through to concourse. It really doesn't matter..

Tonbridge Audi are making their service team available, free of charge, for diagnostics, health checks and general inspections. If you would like your car looked over by an Audi Technician or have some fault codes pulled, you will need to let me know in advance so that I can book a time slot for you and issue you a VIP pass. There will be a concourse section which is limited to 12 cars I’m afraid due to available space, so if you would like to put your car forward, again let me know in advance.

There will be specialist's that Audi use in the way of a bodywork technicians, interior etc, they will be on hand for advice and helpful tips.

There will be opportunities for VIP pass holders to take their cars out on the local test routes that Tonbridge Audi use for their prospective customers. Some of these routes can be great fun as they have been selected to get the best enjoyment out of the higher end cars. A disclaimer will need to be signed by the driver before you go out. The number of cars per cruise will be limited too for safety reasons but please remember that these will still be the queens highway‘s, you’ll be out with fellow enthusiast’s in their pride and joy so the cruise should not be treated as a race.

I will need to know numbers in advance, including any passengers, so that we can get the passes and everything else organised.

Looking forward to meeting you and your Audi,

Geoff Black

Hi

I'd be interested in coming along, in my B5 RS4, possibly with my wife and son. I'd also like to consider a Concourse pass too?

Thanks
Carl

I'd be interested if you want a C5 RS6 saloon as part of the display?

Stumpy, You are the 1st car to be put forward for the concourse so far so we might or might not be going ahead with this section this time round. If we add RS6 Dave's to the display then things are started to change lol.

Would any of you like any of the free services that are on offer, you can be greedy like me and have all 3?

Well I'm defo up for coming along. Possibly with shiny wheels, and different seats ;)

Have only just had a health check and diagnostics, but if it's free... :)

There's a few other RS owners in Kent I know so I'll get them to add their names...

I wouldn't trust that bunch of wankers to change a wiper blade. possibly the worst customer service I have ever received and ended up getting Grizz to put right there <beep> up on a £5k replacement gearbox.

And I am not the only one........

I spent £90k in there in one year, only to be treated something they had trod in and all because I had the temerity to ask them if they had any problems refitting my exhaust as it was blowing on every joint and if they would care to comment on why after driving 30 miles I found oil under my car that appeared to be coming from the gearbox. I was so disgusted with there "well its not our fault attitude that I took it to Grizz, where he found that the exhauxt was missing two clamps and the rest were all loose, and the GB sump bolts were all no more than finger tight.
When I called to explain wjhat we had found, I heard the service advisor (Andrew Stevens) say as he was walking away from the telephone " That <beep> Pino, moaning and whinging- I am going to ban him from the dealership" I explained that he should put the phone on mute if he is going to abuse his customers and that he has approximately 5 hours before I get there to "discuss" his attitude. I did nopt even get through the door.
Luckilly I had recorded his converstaion and his comments were clearly audible.
I did nothing with the recording - but threatened to and still have it to this day, not that it would do me any good as I suruptisiously recorded it by not informing him that I was going to do so. But, I do make it my mission to warn people.

Saying that, the salesmen were awesome, and could not do enough for me (I wonder why!!) One particular chap by the name of Ben was a particularly helpful chap and let me play with all the new toys- knowing full well that i was just playing- Did the R8, the RS6 on launch day, the Q7 and a TT. So not all bad. Just the tech who worked on my car, the guy who should have checked it and this particular service advisor.

Iam not the only RS6/4 owner who has had this treatment either. There is a chap over on SRS had a similar experience with the exact same guy regarding DRC failure. What the little cock didn't know was that he was a fully qualified and certified VAG race technician......
