Just a quick note to say what a fantastic time was had at the Ring over the weekend.

Sunshine, 30 degrees plus, some great, expensive cars, and some strange ones..

Good group of RS246 people..

An Rs4 which topped 200mph (GPS) - four up and filmed

Good food and beer..

If you didn't come you did miss out..

When are we going again???

Had a ride in it round the 'Ring ....awesome car and amazing driving by Lucas.

That was the best weekend ever!

I had a go in the Ring Taxi and Lucas's car, both awesome....got to drive the rs246.com drinking club to interesting venues (!!!!!!!!!!) Look at some very expensive cars (and women ), eat too much , get a bit of a tan and do 6 laps of the Ring. Great fun.

I think the vague plan is to go again in September or early October.

Will definately be up for the next one, totally gutted that I couldn't make it this year...lets make sure it doesn't clash with Audi Driver Day in October though....
Any reports on Doug's 600bhp S2?

Nice to meet the few people I met inc Chubby and David T. That 200mph RS4 is something else and the driver is pretty good too according to reports - I'd love to see the images/video of the broadside through Brunchen!
Surprised how few non RS246 S4s/RS4s there were though.

Doug's S2 didn't make it nor did his S4....Doug went in Olies S4

What a weekend ,had a play with a guy in a carrera gt on the way there who was obviously just tickling it ,what a sound.Arrived at hotel tiergarten (highly recommended) very nice and has the pistenklause restaurant underneath excellent food.Watched the VLN race on saturday in the scorching heat 33.5 degrees on car dash.Sunday got lucky ,a lap in the ring taxi WOW then bumped into the ring meister Phil Bennett got a really good photo with him.Monday lucas the 202mph rs4 man very kindly took me and a friend round the track ,what can i say, the car and his driving left me speechless ,dont think i will ever get round there as fast ever again (felt really inadequate after that)THANKS LUCAS ACE.Came home yesterday got a gps 177mph out of car ,probably would have got the 180 if i held it for just a few seconds longer.Took a detour to SPA on way home ,looks like a building site at moment but drove through gates and ended up on start line of track by accident ,excellent photos though.Then to top it off had a decent play with DB9 when i got off ferry ,nice guy even gave us a wave(and he had s4 no plate).Car performed fantastic all weekend(thanks doug)and she will be having a rest and a nice cool few litres of castrol in the next few days.To all who i saw and spoke to cant wait till the next one .Cheers guys. P.S did anyone else get pulled over by the belgian police in a road block 30mins from dunkirk,they closed motorway pulled us over gave us the 3rd degree, licence, insurance ,log book mot ,look in boot,helicopter overhead,tv cameras got a feeling i was on belgian tv last night giving them a wave as they let us go.

I am jealous!!! Sounds like a fantastic weekend! and RS4 B5 at 200+ !! Well done!!!!!!
