Looking at a track somewhere below B'ham possibles thought of are Thruxton, Silverstone, Goodward, Bedford?? etc for me and a few mates (Mostly M3 and volvo's would you believe)!
shame

Want to give the old love bus a run and try the track for the first time before embarassing myself at the ring or anywhere with another RS in site !!!
Any suggestions of a good one and also tips on isurance ( if possible) kit, equipment to take, fuel, prices etc from you seasoned pro's??
Cheers
Mev

We normally run a winter trackday/christmas bash, we have something on the back burner at the mo, but nothing concrete.
Bedford is good for beginners, a bit boring as a track, You wont get onto Thruxton in your own cars, and Goodwood are very strict on noise, so be sure all your mates know what volume their cars are... I think there are only a few days left at Silverstone this year, do a search on the various track day companies, Automatrix, Goldtrack,Autotrack ETC, or look at our sister website,
WWW.trackdayheroes.com for possible venues and dates.

Note about Bedford if you do visit there, check what track layout they are running on the day. They also offer some afternoon events, usually 3pm to 5:30pm which can be good value.
