Passenger Rides

PhilT (B5 RS4) & DavidT (B5 S4) will be giving passenger rides throughout the day.

You are welcome to a lap or two with PhilT & DavidT, subject to completion of the Audi Driver prerequisites and RS246 disclaimer.

Crash helmets are obligatory and, if you don't have your own, you can hire one when you sign on (£20 deposit). Front seat passengers (over 16s only) are allowed. Long sleeves required and no shorts!

Gala Dinner & Hilton Hotel

RS246 will be staying at the Swindon Hilton on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th and will attend the Gala Dinner on Saturday evening.

Still tentative Mark, but we hope to make it - as you say, would be good to see you (and others) again

If we're going to be there for the early morning line-up, photos, etc, then we'll travel down the night before and stay in the same hotel - so get the beers lined up... :beerchug:

Anyone know if MRC are going to be at this?

Also I want pickup some bits from Merlin Motorsport whilst I'm there. Can they be accessed from the site or are they outside?

Merlin is based on the circuit and they will be accessible during the day IF they're open. They do tend to be but it might be worth giving them a ring first to check. They're located in the paddock area, behind the refreshment block along with the driving school :thumb:

Just checked the weather forecast for this event and it should be dry and bright with sunny spells and a maximum temperature of about 16C. I shall certainly be putting the track rubber on now :jump_clap:

It's the current weather that is putting me (and mostly my GF) off from attending. Shame it's not earlier in the year.
