Top speed of the day was jointly held by a Ruf GT2 & a Ruf 993 at 198mph.

Does anyone know the 480bhp RS4 owner, as there's something not quite right about 170mph if vipers saloon can go that much faster and 480bhp can only go 1mph faster than a heavier, less powerful, automatic RS6?? What mods was the car running?

the rs6 wasnt standard i dont think

Craig my my RS4 achieved 172mph (6,300 rpm and ran out of track!!!)

Nige, you have a limited amount of track to achieve your top speed before slamming on the brakes to avoid the barriers!! I achieved 172 at 6,300rpm before I had to apply my inadequate standard brakes. Another half mile and it would have been interesting. I will try and post the list from pistonheads and you will see that the our cars did bloody well against some serious bits of kit... Oh and it is 450bhp!! not 480
