The queues are horrific, and you really need water sprays to keep the intake temps down.

Get off.

It's best to get there early as the track is much busier from 11am onwards.

Entrance is £ 10 per person and it's £ 20 per per driver on top.

No need to worry about intake temps unless you go intending to set a record. Its just a good day out which is cheap, different and pretty central for everyone.

Don't really fancy the 26th, but am up for this in concept.

It's an excuse for a meet up for a tenner. Some of the cars that run are very entertaining.

remember guys its all about the start..get a good start/reaction pull half a car away and even if you have a slower car the fact that they have to play catch up can throw a win in your direction..to see a slower car in front can put u off big time..and that so much fun to do/see..

hmm could be worth a laugh - I voted for late March.

I'd like to go....sounds like a laugh. I have a shot rear diff though, but might have a new one by then (I hope)

Although of course reaction time doesn't count towards your 1/4 mile time, so it doesn't really matter if you sit there getting your start perfect for a second or two, in terms of the numbers you achieve...

but then again you dnt wanna sit there wheel spinning allday.. for the guys that aint ever done this before its worth a day out..its really good fun.

Not very fancy to go banana on the tarmac there, but will be pleased to meet you folks for a chat and a good drink of course!
