Dodgy title but a good day out
http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_rwyb.php
Lots of interesting cars and plenty of time for a chat.
You don't need to run, and if you do, you don't have to kill your car.
If you fancy it, please vote for your preferred date.

The queues are horrific, and you really need water sprays to keep the intake temps down.

Get off.
It's best to get there early as the track is much busier from 11am onwards.
Entrance is £ 10 per person and it's £ 20 per per driver on top.
See
www.rwyb.com for more details.
No need to worry about intake temps unless you go intending to set a record. Its just a good day out which is cheap, different and pretty central for everyone.

Cheers Clive,
It's an excuse for a meet up for a tenner. Some of the cars that run are very entertaining.
If it rains, we can move on to the pub.
Come on people, get posting

remember guys its all about the start..get a good start/reaction pull half a car away and even if you have a slower car the fact that they have to play catch up can throw a win in your direction..to see a slower car in front can put u off big time..and that so much fun to do/see..

Although of course reaction time doesn't count towards your 1/4 mile time, so it doesn't really matter if you sit there getting your start perfect for a second or two, in terms of the numbers you achieve...
