We're running another track day at Combe on Feb 18th. As usual, open pit lane, just £120 for non TTOC members, considerate (to those poor folks in slow TTs and the track virgins who will be there) RS246 members welcome...

See http://www.tt-forum.co.uk/ttforumbbs/vi ... hp?t=54277

Cheers, Clive

Is there a noise limit this day, had a look at link which does not mention noise.... if it is I would have to bring stealth bomber :sekret:

I'm down to go to this too but I have a cracked windscreen (near the tax disc) - not sure they would let me on track with it - I assume I wouldnt be allowed would I? (I dont want to replace it right now)

If Simon and CBP are turning up I might have to get it sorted!

If you mean the Exige it will be fine, one of the regular guys has used his there, but he'll be bring ing his CSL this time 8)

A couple of events ago a GT3 manual was turned away. Another GT3 was there but it was auto and in neutral it limited to 3000rpm so he could make the 4500rpm for the noise test, but they let him go on track.

The guy who failed the test just went home and got his Ferrari 355 instead!

It's normally a great day as the open pit and lots of track time, the TTOC has a really good social scene so there is a lot of pit talk leaving the track available.

There will usually be more than one VagCom'er too.

I have failed the noise test at Combe with a "GTT" exhaust on my TT - but I did read 106dB @ 4500rpm at the static test. I thought the limit was 100db, but I guess in light of the recent trouble Combe has had, 98db is possible.

Glad to see a bit more interest :-)

David, you're welcome to spectate, but I think you'll kick yourself for not signing up once you're there!

John, Porker is welcome.
