Yes, I shall be there with my RS4 and my old modded S3, which is a superb track car but now belongs to my dad who has never tracked before! That could be amusing. :(

Look forward to seeing as many others as possible :bigwave:

Is this an autometrix event?
Yes. Organised through VW/Audi Drivers magazines. If it works as well as Croft did earlier this year it should be good. My only other experience of them was 'Audi International' at Castle Combe last year which again was pretty good from my point of view.

Autometrix event as usual. This will be my 3rd year now, they are always great fun and a good chance to look at all the new products and companies.

Surely a daft question, but do you need to book if only spectating?

Don't think spectators have to book but it would appear there is an entrance fee

Had a good day in the end after getting stuck for an hour on the M5 going down.! :x

Nice to meet a few new faces. Tom (audiboy) hope you get the car back running soon, its an impressive piece of kit. Paul (derdle) always good to have another RS4 around and glad you had fun on your first track day. Time to beat 1.26 sec on your next one :D Steve (Stevesmee) Hope your overheating/ECU thing gets sorted soon but you were still pretty quick, those new turbos are obviously working well :bigwave:

Once I'd got through all those Golfs I even managed a 1.21sec. lap myself which I was quite pleased with. Even the sun came out in the afternoon. Forgot to take any pictures though sorry guys :bash: Will have to scan the magazine next month.

Nice to meet you too :D Car is sorted now. Turbo is not dead thank god, but the breather system is acting up and dumping oil into the inlet!! Hence the James Bond style smoke screen. Car was fine on the way home, gave it a good pasting :D Was loving it.

At least i didnt need the AA(or similar) to pick me up, which is always nice

Top day out for my first event in my S4. Who had the Avus RS4? that was a seriously quick motor.Only problem with show is I now need New Brakes, shocks, exhaust, more RS4 components...thanks to paul(k9ng) for showing me round the track and making my car feel inadequate :( . Any chance of holding a RS246 stand next time?
