Bushy and I are meeting up at the High Wycombe Cinema junction on the M40 (junction 4) and heading up the M40 (quickest way for us).
Welcome to meet up there - plan is for 6.15-30am meet.

Hi Thorney,
I will be joining the M25 at junction 11, so M40 is good for me, if you think thats quicker than the M1...

Thorney/Bushy, I'll also join you at HW.
Duncan, forget the M25.. Quicker to head over towards the bottom end of the A404(M) near Maidenhead via the A330. I'll meet you at lightwater if necessary.
Also, I'm told there is an Optimax station somewhere near Donington, anyone know where it is??

Yep,
If you head up the A50 from the M1 (towards Stoke) there is
a Shell station on the opposite carriageway about 3~4 miles (roughly) from the M1 junction.
There is a turn off just past it so easy to leave and rejoin on the other side.

If you are planning on going up past Silverstone on the A43, (which is now dual carriageway all the way, nice quick road),
watch out for 2 cameras on the new strech, they are approx 1/2 mile after the camera sign and are Truvelo's so will get you going towards them.

SteveFitz and myself will be getting there earlyish, as we want to get a garage
Also another thought does anyone want any Millers Octane Booster, i can bring a couple of boxes if reqiured.
Just on one last note dont by fuel at the Circuit as its very VERY expensive, BP garage down the road, much cheaper.
Itinerary
08:00: Driver Sign-on
08:30: Drivers Safety Briefing
09:00: Driving Starts
13:00: Break for Lunch
14:00: Driving Continues
16:00: End of Day (depending on light)
This event will be run as open pit lane.
Directions
The circuit is located close to Junction 23a of the M1, but the M42/A42 and A50 also meet at this point. From junction follow the A453 towards the Donington Park and East Midlands Airport.
Petrol
The circuit fuel station will not be open. The nearest petrol stations are at the East Midlans Airport and at the Donington Park services on the A453 Junction 23a of the M1.
Facilities
Food is served at The Old Redgate Lodge and Pit Stop Diner and toilet facilities are available onsite all day.
Requirements
The only requirements are that all drivers, passengers and spectators sign our indemnity and that anyone going out onto the circuit wears a helmet. Helmets are available to hire at £5 per day and if you haven't already specified one when booking you are advised to do so to ensure we bring enough along. A compulsary safety briefing will be held at 08:30 in the Pit Stop Diner, any customers who have not signed on by 08:30 will have to wait until 10:00 until the next safety briefing. it is especially recommended that all novice drivers are signed on by 08:30 so they can participate in the parade laps and novice session.
2nd Drivers and Passengers
We are unique in not charging for passengers or 2nd Drivers. Spectators are of course welcome as well. Children under 16 years must be accompanied at all times by an adult but will not be allowed onto the track without our prior consent.
Cheers

The A43 cameras are not detectable with a radar detector. They are yellow though. Nice roundabouts.

I will be attending with a friend as a spectator (hopefully as a passenger - hint, hint )
Video equipment will be available to install in the car if anyone hasn't got it and I can transfer to DVD if you require.
