I agree they should have seperate car and bike sessions, but banning them is a bit strong.

I know the bikes get in the way on the ring, but using that sentiment cars should be banned from any road us bikers wanna use :assflash:
On second thoughts, scratch that idea. We need something to catch and overtake on a regular basis :biggrin2: :bigwave:

John,

have fun at the ring mate, but if you haven't been before you do need to be sensible about the cars. They catch up at an alarming rate and a lot of them will give you no room at all, overtaking mid bend regardless of whether you give them room !

I found the roads around the area far more enjoyable on a bike than the track itself to be honest.

Thanks for that John.....used to go to the ring quite frequently as I used to live in Luxembourg...not too far away from the Ring.I agree the roads around the ring in the Eifel are great...beats the old A3 !

Not anti bike at all, own and ride one on a not too regular basis.......... just spend all my time on the ring looking for bikes, loosing my place on the track notes and making a stuff up of a perfectly good lap trying to avoid them.

On my last visit they found a biker up a tree who had been there two days, apparently they found the crashed bike on the Sunday afternoon but couldn't find the rider and assumed he had got a lift from someone else. Closed the ring and we lost a days use
