Folks,

I may have to drop out of the SPA event, I will not know until friday's afternoon.

My mum has been in Neuro-Surgery Emergency Room for 2 weeks now due to falling off the 1st floor of the country house during a night and spending 3-5 hours unconscious in the garden, under rain and 10°C temperature until my father found her as he woke up, body temp down to 30°c, lung trauma, brain trauma, broken ear bones, broken ribs, broken arm, blood loss, etc.

Cops holding my father for questioning in custody due to no other witnesses (the guard dog didn't wake my father), until the whole family, neighborhood and family doctors assured there has never been a sign of domestic violence (ie. he didn't throw her out of the window), blood testing for alcohol consumption, etc. (fecking ugly story, don't wish that experience to my worst ennemy, but they had to do their job, fair enough).

Things are getting better now, REALLY better (she's out of critical/survival zone) but as only the family is admitted to visit her, I may have to call this one off.

Sorry for that and apologies for not being 100% responsive to all different mails and PM's. I am confident you can understand under this new light, didn't want to share that though until the good took over the bad.

In any case, it's a lot more on the positive side than negative so if I can, reasonnably and without being selfish in any way (she keeps saying "go, u need to have a bit fun and a break"), I'll be besides you.

If not, well I'm not making this one up ...

Cheers,

Eric
PS : sorry mates for being graphically detailled but it does me good too to let it go, tbh.

I think people will understand Eric - family must always comes first. I hope things turn out OK with your Mum.

Dreadful news Eric, I shall pass it on when I meet up with the guys at Dover in the morning.

Eric, good to see you on Saturday mate.
All the lights & signs were superb ;)

That dog is one nice animal, but there was no way I was going to use the phone box
Really nice to meet oyou all, and hope to see you some time soon at the next rs246 track meet.

Few beers being sunk right now, and the keyboard has all the characters in different places to uk ones, so appologies if this reads like <beep>.
