First RS 2/4/6 EVENT in SPAIN

Hello dear RS-friends!

On the occasion of the 10th birthday of the AUDI-Porsche RS2 we organize our

FIRST RS2 EVENT EUROPE – SPAIN

starting 16.05.2005 (journey) until 23.05.2005 (departure).

It shall become an experience-event in connection with holidays in Denia and the Costa Blanca, therefore without stress for „human beeing and engine“.

So far we have planed the following points for our reunion:

- 7 nights in a **** Hotel
- 16.05.2005 – a wellcome evening
- sailing-tour on a great catamaran
- sight-seeing tour of the world culture inheritance in Elche
- shopping tour in the centre of leather production in Elche
- a ride into the wild and romantic hinterland, with an incredible route up into the mountains and to Guadalest
- visit of a typical spanish house „Finca“ including a Paella meal and other surprises
- visit of the outstanding show in the famous night club of Benidorm
- visit of Terra Mitica
- sight-seeing tour in Alicante
- in convoy we will drive through the famous Esplanada and through the Marques de Campo of Denia
and
- at the end a great farewell party on the 22.05.2005

Further on there will be enough time for bathing, surfing, go-cart-riding or quad-riding or just for beeing lazy under the sun of Spain.

An event in a beautiful landscape at the Costa Blanca is awaiting you. Denia is an easy-going, typical spanish small town, without a hotel skyline and with a romantic old part of town and a lot of snuggy restaurants. It’s shore has a length of 16 km.

Information:
For instance: Distance London – Denia about 1.800 km, all motorway (E 11 + E 15, Paris – Clermont–Ferrand – Montpellier – Barcelona - Denia). Temperatures in may: air ca. 25°,
water ca. 18°-20°.

That such an event needs an expenditive of time and work, we surely don’t have to mentioned. We take the stress upon ourselves with pleasure, because it shall become an unforgettable experience for each participant. But to carry out everything how we imagine it (still we have some more surprises at hand) 50 RS cars should participate.

We ask you to give us a feedback until 30.11.2004, if there is any interest to such an event.
If there is such an interest, next step we have planed is to install a special homepage with all detailed informations needed. A obligatory confirmation is needed until 30.01.2005. If there are questions or further ideas you can write us to the following adress: rs2event@gmx.net.
Of course RS4 and RS6 drivers are welcome too.

One thing is for sure: if the event happens, the longest way is worth it!

I'll be in the Alps on the bike that week, so no good to me, but thought I'd ask anyway.
