24H Le Mans 2004 (plus a surprise :)))

Post by Taipan » Fri May 07, 2004 9:35 am

Hello :rocker:

Although I see no post yet, I assume a few of you afficianados will storm Le Mans for the 12-13 June 2004 edition and make it an advanced command post for the Crown in frog-eating territory :D

So I thought you may consider this one : how about joining AudiPassion on a late-afternoon 4 hours session on the French F1 GP track of Magny-Cours (300km from Le Mans) on Sunday 13th 16-20H ?
Cost is 140€.
The reason we book -tentatively yet- a late afternoon session is that the track is fully booked for week-end days until June 2005.

http://www.magnyf1.com/tf1magny/site/en ... /trace.asp
Track will be the F1 one : 4 411m long.

Let me know if you're interested, if possible before the end of this week-end. It will a Audipassion 100% track event (no other clubs to spoil, cough... 8) )

Cheers,

Eric

Sound a good idea Eric BUT 200miles from Le Mans, will be probably suffering with hangovers, upset tummies, bad BO, etc so I think that I will miss out on that one.
Highly tempted though

I know JonP is on Maison Blanc with us this year who else is going?

As Ken said, we are in at Maison Blanc, and booked in with MRI (Motor Racing International) who have a hostility suite, results, driver interviews, beer tent, breakfast etc.
There is myself, and Tim Black going down in the Oil Burning tractor (although it is now 250bhp with 500nm torque) and some Rob from work here and 2 of his friends. You have my mobile - if not PM me and i will let you know. We are going down thursday - monday via the tunnel (8.00am I think)
