Next Northern Pub Meet - Monday 17th May

Is anyone going to turn up this time (yeah, me included!) ?
For the uninitiated, the location is The White House PH, which is at a place called Blackstone Edge - right on top of the Pennines on the A58 between Littleborough and Ripponden. It is easily reachable from the M62, so those of you in North Cheshire, Manchester, South Lancs, West and East Yorks will have no trouble at all in finding it
The pub serves good wholesome pub fare (the Mixed Grill is especially wholesome - you won't need to eat for a few days afterwards!), and good beer.
Meet from 7pm 'til around 10.30pm.

Dunno, but if I am representative of a typical forum browser, then it only gets read the once when it first appears.
There's no harm in reminding people with a fresh post is there ?

Does anyone have a postcode or road name plus building/house number for the pub? Got really lazy now & use the Sat-Nav for everywhere i'm not 100% sure of. I know roughly where the area is, but not the exact venue.

If there's nothing on here, you might want to check on
TyreSmoke. I know there are regular meets at Windsor and Milton Keynes which might be close enough for you to get to, and there has been the odd meet in the South West area.
The Northern meet consists of members from TyreSmoke, RS246, Club Audi and ....
If there's nothing close enough, why not start one - that's how the Milton Keynes meets got going and kinda how the regular Northern Meets started?

Managed not to eat too much last night, for a change
It was good to meet Paul and see two RS6's parked up side-by-side. If the Avant was yours, why didn't you come and say "hello" ?
I must say that Paul's car sounds and looks absolutely fantastic - I thought the 4.2 S4 sounded great, but the RS6 is even better (especially with the Milltek)!
Hope to see you all again next month, although I have a suspicion I may not be able to make it as I think the meet is the first day after I come back from France, so will be a bit rushed. We'll see
