Track Day

Post by johnRS4 » Thu Mar 25, 2004 9:40 pm

I had a call from the people from Bedford Autodrome and they said that we can have the whole track for ourselves for £2,500 + v.a.t. (summer time May - Sept, evening sessions 5-8pm). Is anyone interested?

Best regards

John

p.s. see the link for more details of the track: www.clubautodrome.com/track_day_circuits.htm

Thats 40 cars at £75 plus VAT seems a reasonable deal as long as the weathers OK
And we can get 40 cars :beerchug:

Me too, but thast is only an evening session?

It wasn't to much more to do Castle Coombe for the day I seem to recal and do we have to pay for the insurance etc on top?

Sorry to sound negative but definitely need to get on the track soon

Put me down John, always a pleasure and those run offs are quite 'reassuring'.

You never know, I may have something more polluting by then.....

Add my name to the list John... Gotta give the S4 a run out at some stage.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for such a good response. I've just had the following information from the track:

Thanks for promoting our venue - I have attached our price list for confirmation of the cost. It is basically £2,500+VAT per evening in May or June.

If you want an hospitality suite, it is an extra £500+VAT.

We need 50% deposit when you are ready to book and balance 4 weeks before the event.

Please take note that this would be for the entire 4 mile Gran Turismo circuit.

Please take note that after 5.00 pm our planning permission restricts us to 20 cars on track max. at the same time, which means you can have more cars but 20 only can be on track simultaneously.
I can do the following dates :
Tuesday 11 May
Friday 14 May
Tuesday 18 May
Monday 7 June
Thursday 17 June
Tuesday 22 June

The ideal scenario if one of these dates worked is for me to hold it provisionally for you while you get commitment from drivers.
Can you start giving me an indication of suitable dates from the above.

Thanks

John :bigwave:

I'd say Friday 14th May.

Its a fair drive for quite a few of us, so we could book in to a travelodge and have a meal and a few beers afterwards.
