By popular request (well, PhilT), I've decided that we'll set the dates for the meets at a regular Monday night slot on the 3rd Monday of every month (unless we need to move it for some exceptional reason).
So, enter the dates in your diaries now:
Monday February 16th
Monday March 15th
Monday April 19th
Monday May 17th
Monday June 21st
Monday July 19th
Monday August 16th
Monday September 20th
Monday October 18th
Monday November 15th
Monday December 20th To be confirmed nearer the time
I will obviously put up a post for each of these meets a few weeks in advance, as normal, but at least you can get the dates in your diaries now.

Hi Trev,
I enjoyed the meet last night, everyone was very friendly. It's a bit exposed to the elements all the way up there but I imagine it's more fun in spring/summer. Maybe bdev will give me a lift next time and I can enjoy a jar like Phil did...

Hope to be there next time subject to work commitments.

How far north do you plan on going? I'm based in Cumbria!

The location is the White House pub which is at Blackstone Edge on top of the Pennines on the A58 between Littleborough and Ripponden (or Rochdale and Halifax if you prefer bigger places).
It is easily reachable from J21 or J22 of the M62 (around 15 mins from each).
We chose this location for its good food (or so Trevor says) and because it is pretty easy to get to from all directions.

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delay.
Just to prove we had a good time, I have attached a couple of pics.
BTW the car is running fine now, it was the pressure on turbo, apparently running at 0.5bar, now got it at 1.3bar - runs great.
Really enjoyed the meet, looking forward to the next one.

Can i pop my name down for the May one?? I'm on holiday for the next couple of weeks, so can't make the April event plus i don't collect the RS6 until the 22nd April. She will have been fettled to 510BHP by the May meet, so should be fun & an excuse for a drive. Location is only about 40 miles ish from me, so i'll probably come cross country unless anyone wants to cruise over from Wigan / Manchester way??

Your gallery seems to be a bit poorly. The page reports that you have one gallery containinig ten images but I can only retrieve the first image whch shows the rear of your new shiny red motor...

Hi Phil,
I was wondering if the refund had come through yet for your Remedial Charm School course?
Interestingly (or should I say sadly?) your link to Dave's gallery works a treat but the original route I took is still broken.
I clicked on the following:
- Gallery (Left hand menu column)
- User galleries
- 2 (goto page two at bottom of page)
- DaveP (B/W photo of his RS4)
- Photo of Dave's RS4 (in red, taken from rear)
- Slideshow icon
Despite the fact that the title bar indicates that this is photo 1 of 10 the slideshow does not cycle to the other photos and you cannot manually step forward to view them either. If I select the next image manually the message "no image to display" appears.
I can recreate the problem in Opera 7.5 and IE6.

Easy solution, click on the thumb for the album, not the thumb in the "Last Updated Albums" section...
So who's going to the meet tonight then ??
