It’s going to be THE SEASON OPENER for 2004!

So you’re building your new motor for 2004 and want to show every one just how fast it is. Well bring it along to the MOTECH STRIP SEARCH Weekend at Northamptonshire’s SANTA POD RACEWAY on 27th-28th March.

MOTECH are putting up some excellent prizes for the fastest of each make and other special categories. Prizes include, a brand new set of Alloys wheels and tyres, Scorpion Exhaust, Suspension kits and much, much more.

Fastest terminal speed

All the main Performance, Tuning and Styling Manufacturer’s will be there so there’s the opportunity to see all the new 2004 products before anyone else and we’ve a careful selection of magazines coming to cover the event and snap you with your prizes. Track action also includes the 270mph Jet Car and Stunt Vehicles, with a host of off track entertainment including Adrenaline Rides, Page 3 Guests, Babes, Comedy and much more, an excellent Weekend is ensured for all.

Did anyone go there yesterday? We did.

Went in a friends RS Turbo Fiesta, but when we got there at 11.30, the track tickets had been sold out.

There were loads of cars queing for a go on the drag strip, it went way past the quarter mile marker.

Did some one say on here that they can do it in 12.8 secs in a revo S3? There was a ABT (well, badge on the side anyway) S3, silver with 'Fast Furious' style graphics that did it in 14.4, and a TT in 14.2 !!!!

The fastest I seen was a Hyabusa with turbo and NOS in about 9, with terminal of 155mph.
