Track days in France : program 2004

Post by Taipan » Mon Dec 08, 2003 8:01 pm

Hello everyone

As asked in Oulton Park, here's the list of track days organised by the AudiPassion Club (technically it's the CAA club -approved by Audi AG- but the site's url is www.AudiPassion.com thus everyone using that).
Anyway enough of the legal blabla

Please note that these dates are almost carved in stone as the french tracks carry an 18month waiting list.

- March 28th : LE MANS (Bugatti track, the permanent one, not the 15km loop...)

- April 4th (04/04/04) : none, mr T. is getting married

- May 2nd: MAS DU CLOS track
http://www.mas-du-clos.com/e/circuit.htm

- July 14th: CHARADE track.
http://www.charade.fr/eng/localisation.html

- July 23-25 : LE MANS CLASSIC (thousands of cars attending from all manufacturers who ever competed at Le Mans 24H, not an AudiPassion venue)

- Octobre 2-3: FOLEMBRAY track
http://www.bookatrack.com/-pV?15

- Nov 7th: DIJON-PRESNOIS track
http://www.bookatrack.com/-pV?36

As an order of magnitude, the track fees are in the 150-200 EUR, including lunch, full track staff/marshalls and two instructors from the french Audi Quattro Experience Center. Hotels are in the 50 EUR range (maybe not for Le Mans Classic, due to the massive attendance).

I will try and post more information through dedicated post (one per track day) when final arrangements are available.

Cheers,

Eric

Registered on the french site audipassion over the weekend , as to keep a breast of the dates in question. next year will be a year of "Vist`e en France" and support the guys who support us.
And also the fact i love France, the food the wine and a couple of other things too.
Eric i will try and attend as many as possible.
And also bring RS246 to more users.
Salute

Hey Eric,

Does that mean I've got to race on the other side of the road?

Count me in for a couple, and the helmets on its way...

Richard.
RS4 Misano Red (The Fast Colour) - A Few Extras = 550bhp - In Love Again - Now broken - Hate the Bitch... Has to go...

I'm sure I'll make at least one.
As JR said, good food, wine and company.

During the meeting in Folembray (Festival des Anneaux) on october 2 and 3 celebration of the 10th birthday of Audi RS2 will take place.
Special events are scheduled and we expect at least 50 RS2 (RHD welcome)
More information here:
http://www.audipassion.com/services/for ... ?tid=14933

Or if you don't read french, on my e-mail (atrium@freesurf.fr)
You may answer in english on the AudiPassion forum for that topic.

As of today 14RS2 are confirmed for that meeting !
