Revo Kart Challenge 19th July

Unfortunately I will probably not be able to make it, as I will be returning from Las Vegas on the 18th (It's work, not pleasure. See here). I would like to try and turn up and spectate, but will have to see closer to the date.

Your Personal Club Invitation to the Revo 2003 Karting Challenge
You are invited to attend and / or participate in our 2003 European Karting challenge!
Revo are to host an annual event where car clubs are invited to meet, and challenge one another in a 2-hour Karting Endurance Race on one of the best national Karting circuits in the country!
The venue is Whilton Mill National Karting Centre Nr Daventry Northants. See www.whiltonmill.co.uk. The facility has a working water mill, parking for 500+ cars, some great amenities and a bar.
It is a great opportunity for your club to use the venue to hold a meeting of your members at a fantastic location in the midlands. We will locate an area for each club to display as many cars as they wish, and additional parking for members to just turn up on the day. You will get to meet other car clubs in the UK, meet, greet and have your keenest members enter teams of 4 people to compete in a 2-hour 250cc outdoor Karting challenge!
Together with some great prizes, Revo will report on this event on their website for the rest of the year giving the winning club some great publicity! Magazine editors will also be present.
Revo will provide some fantastic prizes:
1st place - A full days driving experience at one of the UK’s great driving schools for FOUR! Plus 4 Vouchers each worth £125 off any future Revo software purchase.
And of course…The Revo 2003 challenge trophy!
2nd place - 4 Vouchers each worth £125 off any future Revo software purchase and a T-shirt.
3rd place - you guessed it, Revo t-shirts
Date: Saturday 19th July 2003.
Time
10.00am - clubs arrive and assemble in a dedicated club arena. You might want to hold your own show and shine, or a BBQ?
1.00pm - 2 hour Karting challenge – Up to 25 teams of 4 will take part in a 2-hour endurance and race on one the UK’s best outdoor Karting circuits. Cost to enter a team is £170. Teams will consist of 4 people. All participants should call Revo direct and register their team. If more than one team is entering from each club we will ask them to add their own name to the club name!
3.30pm - prize giving
All day, members will be able to talk first hand with our engineering team as well as staff from our US and ASIA offices.
SPECIAL DEAL! For this one-day only, we will be offering a special discount on software installs, SPS 1,2 and 3, but you will have to wait until the day to find out the special rate!
Anyone attending on the day will receive this special event price, along with some free Revo goodies.
Forge Motorsport will also be in attendance on the day offering you the opportunity to talk to them about their hardware development plans. Catering will also be provided for on the day in the form of a food van.
