* denotes confirmed.
Here are some additional details:
1. Power loss from flywheel to wheels - Many rolling roads calculate the power loss by dropping the clutch at the end of a power run to calculate the loss during deceleration; can you do this? We will have some stock RS4s, so hopefully if this is not possible we can calculate a rough loss from these cars.
We have some new dyno software which will give flywheel bhp and torque figures. I can run through this when everyone is here. We have specific vesions for 4 cylinders, 6 cylinders, and 4 cylinder-4 wheel drive-turbo cars. It has been developed for specific models - like subaru wrx and Porsche, but may be quite accurate for the audi. We don't do a coastdown loss, but the system determines losses through the measurement of applied force on the rollers. Its quite complex.
2. What are your Saturday opening times?
Saturday, we'd like most people there by 9am. I'll run through the safety side of things, everyone can sign on, and the first car will be running at 9:30am.
3. What method of payment do you prefer?
We will accept credit cards (not amex) and cash. Its £50 for a power test (inc vat), or £80 for 2 runs as discussed.
When we are all done I suggest we go for a spot of food here.
