I’ll have my VCDS with me but I’m no pro on what to do.
I fancy driving my car home so unless you code my engine out, I’m sure it’ll be okay.

I’m assuming you know the basics?

Will you be coming from essex?

Cheers

I'll be coming down the A3, popping out of the tunnel and joining the 287 down to GW. Anyone else going that route?

I’m looking to disable headlight washers, seatbelt and door chime, enable one touch opening and remote windows up and down and I would quite like my taillights yo come on with my drls. I’ve got guides for them and don’t think they should be too hard. Can give you some beer money :drink:

'Displaying': What's the ideal GW eta? A 6.30 eta seems is a bit 'keen'. 8.30-ish seems more do-able. When are most folks thinking of arriving?

The crew coming from Oxon/Berks have some displayers too. We are aiming for 0830 at GW.

Jambon I emailed this exact question to Goodwood on Wednesday asking if there's a requirement/expectation on timings for display cars. I'll chase up and as soon as I get the answer I'll post up. If there isn't a requirement we (the Oxford convoy) are aiming for 0830 arrive.

Hi Mr Blue, :-)
Cool. Let's see what they say. Given that GW is 30 mins or so from Fatneck's manor at the exit of the Hinhead tunnel-ish, I'm aiming to be there just before 8.

Update on arrival times:

I emailed them to ask specifically if there was an expectation that display vehicles need to be in by a certain time. Answer seems pretty generic and hasn't really answered the question. I've rung them but "the breakfast club team don't take calls, try emailing them..."

Response below:

"Good morning
Thank you for your e mail
Breakfast Club begins at 0700 - however, it is indeed possible to arrive later as the entrance is stewarded all morning . Some cars will start leaving the event from about 1000 with the last cars leaving by 1200
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any further queries
Best wishes

Breakfast Club Team"

UPDATE: I emailed back and have the following:

Hello - indeed you are able to arrive at 0830 and still access the display areas
With best wishes

Breakfast Club Team

So Oxford/Didcot/Pangbourne crew looks like we are good for a 0700 meet at Milton Interchange.
