Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble

Post by Moonlight Blue » Sat Jan 05, 2019 6:04 pm

Anyone else heading up to the Sunday Scramble tomorrow? Tickets are still available on the gate apparently. I went to the last one and it was a great morning.

How did you like it? Superb as always I thought. Massive turnout, my only fear is the event growing too much and spoiling.

I was there (only live a stones throw away). I had tried to organise a rs246 group to go before but not that many were interested last year.

There was the Audi UK club there, only around 10 cars by the looks of it. Surely we can muster up a group for the next one in April? You get discounted tickets!

It’s definately getting bigger each time and the cars one show are as wonderful as ever.

I am fairly local too.

I quite like an event that I am not part of so able to arrive in a dirty car and blend into public parking.

That said I would make the effort and join a forum display if there was one. If nothing else you get parked closer to the event.

The car park has some better prepared Audi's than the Club Audi stand.

First one l have been too a great few hours spent there, would recommend to anyone. I was there with Piston heads so nearer the site and cheaper tickets. So if you are going to attend please keep us all posted

Yes I enjoyed it very much, cracking weather. I agree it has got very busy now and with Pistonheads shedding light on it as a Sunday Service venue I imagine it will continue to grow, but this can only be a good thing for the centre and the businesses.

I spotted the Audi UK club too, but not a big turn out. If there's a few of us local and interested then I'll post in the run up to the next one and we can meet for early coffee and drive in?
