Anyone driving from London to MRC next week? If you're dropping off your car I could return the favour coming back the same day. If not, I could spit in your fuel tank and keep most of my farts in for the journey.

Worst case and I mean worse case scenario you could get a train to banbury and it’s walking distance to MRC

New clutch, slave, cambelt, headlights, fix meth, new battery, steering rack... the list got big, fast.

Yeah I've ridden the train there a whole bunch of times and taxi'd to MRC or they drop me at the station. I just thought I'd ask on here before booking a ticket, I'd much rather give money to lessen someone's petrol to MRC and meet a fellow forumer in the process. It also kind of takes away the decision on which day to take off next week too.

The engine and GB had to come out for the clutch replacement (turbos are wrapped around the gearbox) - oh yeah, I forgot, replaced gearbox too, with a recondited 01E. I think the leak was discovered after the engine went back in and they fixed in situ.

So, they eat manual 'boxes too? Mind, bet you're pushing out some serious torgues...
Re: London - > MRC
Not really, the last map it had 869Nm. This latest map it has 873Nm. The 01E box is old, it's not really meant for big power. All of the B5s with big power have the same issue and eat boxes. Just keep a spare one innit.
