Weds 5th October, 6:30pm onwards at Ye Olde Swan, Woughton on the Green, Milton Keynes, just off the A421.

Last month was the first away from the original MK Meet pub after 12.5 years. Those present - 10 attendees, 2 newbies, 7 eating - agreed to keep the MK Meet on the road for a while and try some new places. I much preferred the pub we tried last month to the original venue, and the cul de sac overflow car park area could work well for future summer meets in 2017. However, Ye Olde Swan has bags of outside space, I love it as a summertime pub, and I've always liked the food, which is why I propose meeting here in October as the nights draw in. I have a feeling it was an MK attendee who first told me about the place several years back!

6:30pm onwards, any enthusiast welcome, not just VAG and / or Porsche! Usual suspects please post your interest, potential MK meet newbies please post below so we can look out and welcome you, even more so given the new unknown location! The meet is posted on RS246, Audi SRS, the S2 Forum and TSN. Table booked for 8 people, that can be amended if required nearer the time, however I do need a number before the night, hence the roll call below....

The bit highlighted in red on the second map is the road through the pub - you can access from both ends. The south entrance takes you past two private houses.

Please aim for north end of the car park. Approach from the north if you want to avoid speedbumps!

PS Having been at Oktoberfest in Munich last week, that might give you an idea for next year. Not so sure the cars and beer will mix though!

Great to see you all! Eight attendees exactly as per the roll call, lovely pub, food was superb. Those present voted to meet here again, we actually booked the table there and then. Top / north end of the car park worked well I thought. Some spaces are super wide and some are multi-storey car park narrow, so next time we'll try and bag the wide ones for the A8s and RS6s present!

A reminder MK runs every other month through winter time. Next meet Weds 7th Dec.

TBH With the effort Ian puts into these events over the years which brings everybody together for a good night of talking car botox rule 1 really does not apply
