If I was going straight to Castle combe sat Nav would take me down the m6 and m5. But to the meeting point it's pretty much all A roads ( can't remember the name, maybe a46?)

I have indeed got the flags in the car, which is washed and ready to go. Pretty sure the neighbours will have been pissing themselves at the sight of me out with my torch cleaning the car, while the house is empty too (wife and kids at in-laws),

So 8:30am at the Premier Inn car park, next to Costa (M4 Jn 16, SN5 8UB) for those that can make it. I suggest we don't hang around too long, and aim to head off by 8:45am, allowing for stragglers.

If you can't get to the meetup, or you're running late in the morning, don't worry - just head straight to the track. At the gate just tell them you were allocated a pass for RS246 but couldn't collect from me, and they will direct you to the stand anyway.

Finally, I'm going to have a crap load of cameras with me so I hope you don't mind me poking around all your cars! Hoping to get some rolling shots of our convoy to the track too, so if I'm driving a bit weird that's why

I guess the Costa is probably signposted from the M4, hence the mention in the thread from last year where I nicked the image from:

Should be there on time to meet. When the traffic lights went green to get out the road to Premier Inn / Costa, it's two lanes turning right, we should all be able to get out in one go. I'll be following up the rear so I'm not a mobile chicane in my slow coach haha - last year it was like watching everyone leaving the pitlane at a NASCAR race, two by two....

Washed and clayed in the dark! God knows what it will look like when the sun rises tomorrow at the Premier Inn. Might be scratched to ****.

I'm aiming to be there at the meeting point but google says its nearly 2 hours away and I will probably need to stop for petrol so the tiniest bit of congestion, or stuck behind a lorry or average speed road works and I could be way off.
