RS246.com Track Day - Donington Park - Wed 11 May 2016

Over the years, a few of us have strayed from Audi R/S/RS ownership but have remained in touch due to a passion for track days (and racing for some of the more committed individuals). Would be great for others to attend and we have selected a number of Circuit Days events this year that we will be attending. Circuit Days are excellent, well organised and also offer RS246 members a discount
Paul (W8PMC) and I have bought a Renault Clio 172 Cup as our track toy (Sorry but anything VAG was outside our budget).
More info regarding this track day is available on
http://circuit-days.co.uk/. For bookings, simply email
info@circuit-days.co.uk and mention RS246 for a discount
See you there!!

Awesome day out as always with the Circuit Days team

The Clio performed well around other and had genuine excuses for where it needs investment to be more capable.
The Carbone Lorraine RC6 pads out performed the tyres in the wet (Donington is renowned for it's unique aviation fuel and water mixture) and we had a few lock ups (No ABS on the Clio 172 Cup). In the dry, Nicole (That's what we call the Clio) performed pretty well considering she's on stock suspension and 3 different tyre brands. Craner was a little hairy at over 80 mph. Much fun

Echo the above. She's punching well above her weight whilst at the same time being epic fun. Doni is a track she can really excel at & looking forward to returning when she's had her next set of upgrades. Thanks Phil
