Hi Everyone,
Just going to purchase my ticket for the event but was surprised nobody has put a post up about it yet. I guess there will be a fair few of us going and alot of familiar cars to spot? I haven't been before despite owning my RS for over 4 years so looking forward to it but just to keep the wife happy and the little guy I thought we might visit Woburn Safari park while we are there. I now have images of my RS6 getting trashed in the monkey enclosure

so if anyone has visited there recently is that likely to happen?
I guess alternatives whilst there would be truck racing at Silverstone, any kind of lorry, tractor or digger is of great fascination to our 21 month old! Or I could try RWYB at Santa Pod but I guess I would need a helmet for that?
I am also booking accommodation nearby but wanted to know if there are any good places for breakfast in the local vicinity?
If anyone wants to chip in or add info on AITP8 that would be great! Cheers...

Normally it only gets organised last minute. I think last year when we didn't have a stand with a couple of weeks to go I felt I had to organise it myself.
Thanks for volunteering to do it this year!

Haha Don't take your RS6 to Woburn Safari Park. The Monkeys will have a field day!
If your staying near Northampton Rockingham is the closest track so maybe have a look and see what they have got going on there.
I went AITP for the first time last year and the aquadrome looked to have plenty going on for families although I didn't pay too much attention. Maybe check out the website.
I'll hopefully go on the Sunday again this year

And it's appreciated

I'll keep the site running and can look to provide funding if we need something beyond individual cost, but I'll leave the organisation to others. It's a lot of work to get events organised and I just don't have the capacity to do it.

It won't be the same without you cleaning the GT.

Looking forward to this already. Although with it bring spread over 2 days now I wonder if we will miss some people as they will mostly only attend 1 day.

It's a two day event now? Since when? I fail to see how AITP can have enough to entertain over two days?

I didn't realise this but if you buy your ticket on the door then all of that money goes to the venue. If you buy it in advanced then it goes to the organiser, so if everybody buys on the gate then the event will become history.
