RS246 Scotland Drive

Post by HYFR » Sun Mar 20, 2016 9:47 pm

following on from the successful North Wales meet last weekend, with an incredible 13 cars, this is the follow up.

RS246 do Scotland

The drive will start early Saturday AM and finish late afternoon / early evening - with a stop for Lunch.

It will start in Perth, and head up the Old Military Road (A93) in the the Cairngorms National Park and then take the immense A939 up the Ski centres towards Inverness.

We will then head South West down towards Glencoe and reach the amazing Scotsburgring, before heading south towards Loch Lomond and then Glasgow to complete the drive.

The idea is that you cruise up late Friday night after work ... I will be leaving Staffs @ 8pm. Get to a cheap Travelodge late to get head down and count some sheep.

After completing the drive and arriving in the Glasgow area, we would then head south to travel home, arriving home late Saturday night.

Leaving Sunday free to spend time with family etc.

Current dates in mind are in May and July, please state preference

For you southern fairies (I'm a Londoner btw) .... Other option is to catch a easy jet and rent a M4 via Thrifty for the day

Is it worth chucking 2-3 provisional dates up Dave?. Maybe help get a consensus on what works out best for the majority?
