Bugger all car meets happens in Kent (from any forum, even PH) which amazes me considering the awesome cars I see driving here.

I'd hate to pop around to your "local" shops matey, it's a 120+ mile round trip for me to get to Box Hill and I'm only 1/2 way into Kent

Plenty of options. Nice country pub in the middle of nowhere or built up area like the Outlet in Ashford? I'll have a look around to make some suggestions

Ashford is good for me, I'm in the countryside zone between the M2 and M20 so loads of pubs etc but absolutely zero good roads unles you head off down to North Weald, which is a bit far.

I'm also doing a different forums car meet (good mix of cars) down near Horsmonden on the 7th Nov around midday if that floats your boat.

Not sure the car will be fit by the 7th I'll see what I can do though. I've seen a place in Romney Marsh, the bell pub. Loads of good roads around. One of the times I didn't mind picking up the step daughter from her mates there.

No problems, we haven't set any dates for our own meet yet. So far I'm free all of Nov except the 7th & 28th but I've got no weekends free in Dec at all and have no idea about Jan onwards.
