I spent a pleasant day yesterday at the Sunday Brunch Scramble event at the Bicester Heritage Site. The site itself is an old RAF station and was purchased a few years ago by a team who were intent on turning it into a heritage site for historic motoring and aviation plus its all based at a 1940 aerodrome.
I don't know when the next event is planned for (might be early next year), but I wondered whether anyone is keen to have a mini Audi meet there one day. We could probably get a little area of our own. I did spot an B5 RS4 Avant, but not sure if it was anyone on here.
Yesterdays event had around 100 historic vehicles, old aircraft (Tigermoths etc..) and you also had access to various businesses on site, including car restorers, historic car sales, fabrication, upholsters.
For £5 a head (kids are free) its a bit of a bargain.
So, is anyone interested in coming along to the next one? I'll post up a few photos later tonight to tempt you, or you can check out their twitter @BicesterH or #SundayBrunchScramble
