Hi guys, newly on here but I have booked up to go to TV3 on the 26th Sept. Its in Woodbridge Suffolk, or is it Woodham lol??

1.3 mile long runway to blast down the straight and hit what you can. Last time out before I hit 167mph but this was before MRC had a play with it.

Vincent C I know is on here is thinking of going and is Greg with the RS4 so anyone else fancy it. I think its £125 if booked in advance or £150 on the gate. Much better set up than VMAX also Im told by people who have been to both, me, I have not.

Would love to see more Audi's there as last time it was the Merc boys lol.

I'd be surprised if it's a better setup than VMAX & it's a much shorter run distance than Brunters so very few cars would get up to their highest speeds, however it's a lot cheaper than VMAX so should still be good event.

Im only going by what others who attend both have said. Apparently VMAX is just a runway with nothing there. TV have a marquee, toilets, burger van, Costa Coffee lol. I think thats what they were referring to :)

Also, at Brunters when the car next to you crosses lanes your car get pebbledashed to high heaven as it happened to a friends friend up there one time and he was not happy at all.

I would like to do a run myself on a longer one but hey ho, not risking pebble dashing.

Are you going to TV3?

Whoever's told you that is talking pish.

Since AutoVivendi took over, it's gone pretty high class (as have the prices I accept). I have a place reserved as I couldn't make Vmax 200 in March but will attend the next.

As above, that's far from how VMAX is but each to their own & all working runways will have stones/debris present. Also note that Brunters is the very track where virtually 'all' the major magazines test the big guns.

As said though it is quite expensive now, however with attendees with Million££ supercars it's one hell of a rush.

I've been to 5/6 vmax's before they went Barry big bollux and it was a run way and feck all else and you're car would get stone chipped to feck

Yes it better/different now, but the price has also gone up 50% from then so now attracts a very different clientele aka the vlogging Shmee150 generation of wannabes.

Not for me pal.

Valid points, but was & still is the best event of it's type & i believe still the longest usable runway so nowhere else can you have any chance of running your car to it's top speed.

Any runway that's used will throw up stones & now they don't use the bottom bend, unless you drive behind a car in front you'll be fine as the main runway is so wide. Price is defo becoming an issue though & i've still got a credit but can't make the 26th so will have to roll it to next year.

Will keep an eye on this though for next year as for £150 it would be a good setup for some VBOX runs.
