MK Meet - Weds 2nd Sept, 6:30pm onwards onwards at the Caldecotte Arms, Milton Keynes.

11 attendees I think last month in August following a record turn out in July. Some faces I have not seen in years, plus some new faces, and a wide spread of motors, one day Porsches are going to outnumber Audis!

6:30pm onwards, any enthusiast welcome, not just VAG and / or Porsche, usual suspects please post your interest, potential MK meet newbies please post below so we can look out and welcome you! The meet is posted on RS246, Audi SRS, the S2 Forum and TSN. As mentioned previously, the food is very much part of this meet, its great to get everyone around a table together - inside or outside!

For any newcomers (or forgetful old timers) the Caldecotte Arms pub is by the junction of the A5 and the A4146 right next to the oddly shaped - and now smoothly resurfaced - roundabout under the A5 (great for testing your Milltek). Look for the Windmill! Coming off the dual carriageway, drive down as far as the pub and then turn left towards the outside 'arc' of the car park - the top tier so to speak.

yeah that lol

Didn't wake up until about 10:15 and it's a 1.5 hour journey for me so bailed out! Sorry about that. MK is only 15 miles away so not even I can cock that up. :D

Hopefully the weather improves a bit for it. With some blue sky out there, certainly nicer today than it was the last few days of August (well actually most of August for that matter!)

Lower turn out tonight, possibly due to the rather changeable weather. 1.8 20VT, straight five, V6 and two V8s present - one of which was painted Merlin Purple.

Filled up at Shell on my way home alongside a very lovely girl driving a 14 Boxster S on 20s. And she was brunette. And it was a manual. 8)

Nice to meet you all!

Road closed on way home sent me via bloody Woburn so had to have my toe down a bit on the 421 to get home on time. So a rather mixed blessing I suppose!

The A421 out of MK toward M1 Jct 13? They've been doing that stretch for what seems like a year now. Hope you weren't in the dog house when you got home!

No, I didn't ask if she wanted to sample the meat. But she was very nice. No idea if it was hers, but she was definitely young, definitely got in the driving seat, and definitely departed Shell at pace!
