Oulton Park Track Day Experience

Finally got there today after the Mrs buying it for a Christmas present.
So laps in a GTR and Laps in an R8
General sum-up - disappointing!
1) Most of the circuit was cut-short, so no long straights or hair-pins.
2) Instructor would not allow me to take cars past 5k revs.
3) both GTR and R8 felt shagged out-especially GTR. Even only going to 5K revs it felt gutless compared to my RS6,albeit mine is tuned. R8 (v8) felt shocking, every time i changed up a gear (paddle-shift) the whole car jolted to the point where the balance was upset. Was told that was normal...
4) Just felt like they wanted you in and out of the cars as asap and move the next person in.
5) Loads and loads of people being shipped through at staggered time-slots and staff trying to sell any extra rides or laps.
Was really looking forward to the day but left feeling deflated.
