German Car day at Goodwood 2015

Post by Noyjatat » Wed Dec 10, 2014 8:49 pm

After attending the vee day this year just got an email for an event next year. It will be one I hope to attend along with some other guys from the club.

Here's the details for the event next year.

A new Breakfast Club season kicks off in May 2015 and as usual we’ve come up with a delectable menu of Sunday themes designed to titillate any enthusiast’s palate. We kick off with the ever-popular Supercar Sunday – surely the greatest collection of the most desirable supercars in one place – and continue with our popular Soft-Top Sunday, Thoroughbred Sunday and Vee-Power Sunday themes. But new for 2015 is ‘Bahn-Stormer Sunday, which will be a huge celebration of the German-themed machinery that pushed the limits of its day. Think fast, ‘badged’, production specials like the BMW M cars, AMG Mercedes, S and RS Audis, Brabus, Alpina, Hartge and the like - more here. Update For 2015 - Goodwood Road & Racing For 2015 we will be combining our Breakfast Club event information with our weeklyGoodwood Road & Racing email newsletter, giving you all the latest on Goodwood events, as well as modern and historic car news, galleries, videos and insight from star columnists such as Chris Harris and Andrew Frankel. We look forward to seeing you at our Breakfast Club Sundays in 2015!

I'm in. Is there an opportunity to track or is it just a meet?
No matter where you go, there you are.

The last one was just a meet buddy. Food is expensive but there always seems to be some special cars there. I am looking forward to seeing some classics turn out although at that time of the year I imagine a lot of the rwd guys will decide on the day.

Despite the weather being pretty crappy it was actually a really good day, the calibre of cars that attend are immense, never seen so many incredible cars in one place, convoy out of goodwood was a great laugh too.

Ps - nice trunks Graeme

I like to think they modelled the ones at the bottom on me, but my wife insists I'm more of the top row :bash:
