MK Meet - Weds 4th June, 6:30pm onwards onwards at the Caldecotte Arms, Milton Keynes.

Following two good turn outs over the last two months, MK heads into summer mode with its pre Le Mans June meet. Last month it was suggested I rename it 'MK Meat' due to the hearty Mixed Grill almost all of us order each time. However I don't want to give people the impression we are into dogging.....

6:30pm start time is now a permanent fixture all year round, but if people cannot arrive until later that is of course absolutely fine. Usual suspects please post your interest, potential MK meet newbies please post below so we can look out and welcome you! Any enthusiast welcome. The meet is posted on RS246, Audi SRS, the S2 Forum and TSN. As mentioned previously, the food is very much part of this meet, its great to get everyone around a table together.

For any newcomers (or forgetful old timers) the Caldecotte Arms pub is by the junction of the A5 and the A4146 right next to the oddly shaped - and now smoothly resurfaced - roundabout under the A5 (great for testing your Milltek). Look for the Windmill! Coming off the dual carriageway, drive down as far as the pub and then turn left towards the outside 'arc' of the car park - the top tier so to speak.

What sort of turnout do you typically get for this Ian ? I might try and get along as I need be in that direction in the next couple of weeks

Knew the talk of dogging would get you interested Graeme. Any updates on when the new passion wagon is arriving?

Back on script, attendance varies a lot, and will always depend on the weather on the day. Been good the last two months, April saw 11 cars, May saw 8, pretty good for the earlier months in the year. You do get your regulars who turn up without posting, and whilst I do try and prompt everyone to post up, being spread across four forums the meet threads are sometimes slow to tick over

If there's dogging, I'm there
Will have to see how the week pans out, but might be able to get up there
New RS4 will arrive sometime around 1st Sept, so i've got an RS5 for a while until then

Few newbies have posted interest so for any early arrivals / anyone wondering where to congregate in the car park, as above, aim for the outer arc / top tier of the car park and then head right to the very end, as far away from the dual carriageway as you can get. Hopefully we can park in a line.....

Forgot to update this thread, weather held out thankfully and nine attendees present. Pub was packed with the far ends of the car park full, meaning we were scattered parking wise, I didn't take any pics this time.

I'm away for the traditional July slot. Next meet August unless someone else wants to run it!
