I hope we have a good turn out, as it seems we may be able to have a session solely for us (I'll get more details).
Hi Phil,

I hope that you are well.

We are hoping that you can encourage your members to attend Audi Driver International this year. There is a considerable amount of enthusiasm emanating from the trade and the other Audi clubs.

We are hoping to organise an individual track session for TTs and another one for Ur quattros. If sufficient of your members wished to enter, then we could probably organise something similar for RS models.

Whether your members want track time or not, we are hoping that many of them will attend and, if you wish, we will allocate a special club area for you, as we are doing with the other clubs. All we need to know is an approximate number of cars which might be attending.

It would also help us if you could publicise the dinner in the evening and the presentation of the Audi Driver Annual Awards. You will know that it is a great event and, this year, the evening will finish off with a free casino. The cost of the dinner, which includes the champagne reception at Swindon Audi, and the entertainment, is £35 per head. If there are ten of you, one place is free so that it brings the individual cost down to £31.50. Either way, it is great value.

Let me know if you need any further information.

Kind regards,

Paul
Oh, and the evening event is a hoot :)

Excellent Phil, I can't wait. I've changed my booking from a morning only track session to all day (which I believe is 6 individual sessions). Be interested to know a bit more about the RS / S only session. I take it it will be a full on lid and no kids thing rather than a parade type thing.

Looks like this year is going to be busier than ever, let's hope there's no fog!
Mike

Phil,

Just got your email about the club stand and I thought i would ask this rather obvious question on the basis that your answer may help/ clarify others.

Can you confirm that:

a) we pre book and pay for our track sessions on line or on the day

b) we obtain our club passes from you directly on the day (as long as we have let you know we are attending and there are spaces available).

c) we pay an entrance fee (i think it was £5 last year) on the gate at arrival.

On the ADI website there is an option to book and pay for the club stand, but I assume we do not have to do this as you have already organised this aspect of the day.

I was about to query this also. Do we book our club pass online and pay the £4.95 or obtain the pass from you on the day and pay the £5 gate fee?

I'll check on the above point about the club pass and the £5 fee.

The RS246 session is open for people who have booked track time. My understading is that you must book a minimum of a single session for use to enter the RS only session. I'm not sure this includes S'es, but will check. Also, I'm assuming that all that have track time booked will want to have a play in the RS session.

For those that didn't get the email, here it is:
We are less than a month away from ADI 2007, and you have shown interest in attending. Could I ask that you completed the following items as soon as possible:

1. Register at http://www.audidriverinternational.co.uk/ and include what you have registered for in response to this email. It might be worth putting RS246.com in the name field - i.e. Joe Bloggs (RS246.com).
2. email your name, address, and car details (i.e. 2001 RS4) to us. I have 30 club passes, so will need to send them out (First come, first served).
3. If you attending the dinner, which I recommend, then please book and ask to be on the RS246.com table. The booking form is here http://www.audidriverinternational.co.uk/. It might be worth putting RS246.com in the name field - i.e. Joe Bloggs (RS246.com). Oh, and it seems we may be up for an award again, so be prepared to be a little tiddly :) And let us know how many of you will be attending.
4. I've probably missed something, so please advise if I have.

Thanks,

Phil.

IIRC last year, I was on the TT club stand and I had the pass that the club issued but I still had to pay the £5 entrance fee.

Confused yet?????? :?

My guess is that the £5 is something all will have to pay.

I clicked on the 'Club Display Pass' and paid £4.50. I'd already paid for my track time.

Phil, have you physically got the 30 passes to distribute before the day, or are they coming from Autometrix?
