Eric thankyou SO much for clarifying the situation.

Would sorely hate to miss out on Spa after all I have read on this and other forums about it.

Cheers,

Tim

Sorted, thanks Eric.

Tim - you will love Spa I promise. After Eau Rouge, which is about the coolest bit on any circuit, it's a flat Bruntinthorpe with a few 165mph curves chucked in

Hi guys,

Just thought i'd say hello.

I met Scotty at the Nürburgring last month where he took me round in the S4.
After the lap i realised i realy needed to learn how to drive a car properly. I thought i had some car controle but after that ride with Scotty i now know i don't. (i'm only 23 btw)

The Belgian TT club had planned this trackday at SPA a few months ago but i wasn't interested at the time.
However when i got back from the ring i signed up for the event.

So i look forward to meeting you guys in 2 weeks !! 8)

BTW: I was also hoping on catching a ride with some of you, so you can teach me how to drive properly etc. ...

I glad you enjoyed your ride at the ring. If you get a ride with these guys you'll realise [1] how mad they are & [2] how many better drivers than me there are around.

Have a good trip.

On the track just watch out for the loonies who fall off, then come back on spraying the <beep> everywhere coz their undertray is full. It is quite easy to find your self behind one, who still thinks its OK to keep thrashing round -my windscreen at Oulton got cracked this way :( .

If you do come off into the gravel have some consideration for others - make your way back to the pits slowly and then drop your undertray (ooher missus).

Thats the great thing about RS4's - ability to haul themselves out of the deepest gravel traps without assistance :biggrin3:

Wouldnt worry too much Himpe. As Andy says, unless you collect some gravel that has been sprayed on by someone who fancied a picnic, I cant imagine stone chipping will be a problem at a circuit like Spa, which is certain to be well maintained with a sound surface.

Googled some pictures of Eau Rouge Andy. Looks... very interesting!

Oi - Fatcat! Nowt wrong with Burberry... its just the unfortunate image prevalent in the UK at the mo. Johnny foreigner still thinks Burberry is well wikkid innit.

Heres an idea - Burberry baseball caps with RS246 logos on. Bound to be popular ;)
