Hi all,

So I turn up to a day at Donnington, the only "noisy" day of the year thinking hopefully it'll be a nice quiet day and I bump in to Nig with his RS4 - this is more amazing as we work together in Bristol!! Anyway, met a couple of other RS4 owners ( sorry didn't really get introduced!) and I got very excited over Phil's RS6....oh that is beautiful!

Anyway, the weather's bad but it makes 4wd worthwhile....I go in the novice section as its my first track day and there is a cheat there! Phil, been on numerous track days including Donington, has put himself in the novice group! The cheek of it! At least I got to see the RS6 in action ( from behind)....car and driver were quick, he passed everyone comfortably....

Nig - traction control is for girls :)))) I had to use my right foot. Next time I might even switch the boost on! Seriously, your car was also very quick, and looked great!

Anyway, great to see you guys there and the Audi contingent made a good showing. There was also a Red RS6 saloon hooning round....

By the way, I was the one in the Silver Skyline....

Hi Guy,

Good to meet you too. Why not keep an eye on our sister site if you enjoyed the track experience (www.TrackDayHeroes.com).

There were no spaces in the other sessions when I booked. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it :)

Hope to see you again soon.

The RS6 faired pretty well on the track, but it ain't ever gonna be a track weapon.... I'd like to see how it handles the ring though as the joy of auto is really something else (And no, I'm not getting that old :P )

Good to see everyone, hope to see you all in the New Year
Been there (RS6 + Ring), done it, came back, best bit........ ? Nuff said (it's not for the track) - autobahn storming more like!!!!!
RS6 (MRC'd with econodrive) is not just for Xmas

Although just have to add as a Non- RS owner, the 4's and 6's were very impressive round the track! I know the RS6 is not the perfect track toy, but you wouldn't know it watching them flatten most cars out there!
