My concern is what do we do once our cars are dirty again after a potential drive in in the rain?

That's what I've been thinking about too!!

Although the forecast for tomorrow looks better than when I checked it yesterday.

If the car is just slightly dirty I was wondering if I'd get away with lots of quick detailer and a wipe down on lower panels. Not sure if that's a good idea though (don't want to be creating swirl marks).

A step up from that is a cleaner like optimum no rinse, meant to be perfect for shows. No time to get my hands on some though.

Give them a wipe down i suppose, I haven't got a shammy though, really should invest in one. Will try and pick one up later.

I was thinking 8:30 too. Planning on leaving London at 7 so as long as theres no traffic or sat nav doesn't take me some stupid way as it often does we should arrive around the same time.
