I'm in and have just sorted it all out with Carolyn, so will see you all on the day - wasn't sure I could get the time off before, but looks ok now. And I would like some photos please, Peakz.

Cheers

I plan to charge £15 for upto ten photos of you and your car, if you're interested in having a set please PM me so I can plan the day.
Is it £15 for 10, as 'upto' could mean 1!

I'm sure Peakz will let you know his intentions, but so far as profesional event photography goes, £15 for the first image isn't so unlikely. "Up to 10" is a generous deal IMO.

daybar - great news.

Quite. I'm guessing it doesn't matter too much on the day as long as the ground isn't actually under water - less wear on tyres anyway. Got some waterproofs Paz?!

Meindl hinking boots and Rohan coat should keep the elements at bay, failing that I'll keep warm in the cabin watching you lot having fun on track.

What a great day out. I'm exhausted!

Good to see everyone.

So many pics, so little energy to do anything with them. I leave you with fellow a drift convert..... By the way we were recovering the slide from these angles (most of the time!). I was managing a controlled slide one way to the other, full opposite lock :D The way the drive to the front wheels pulls you out the slide with a bit of power applied with the right balance is fantastic.

PS. Will be taking up recommendation of SRF brake fluid very soon!

We are collecting donations for our very own skid pan. More fun than a box of frogs!

The instructors were very good as was the venue. A great day and worth the money, even if a little expensive. Avoid the tarmac short course though, especially if your in the back seat!

Now all we need to do is kidnap them and take them to the Ring with us in September to learn how to drive well there.

:biggrin3:
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I doubt they'd have a whole month to teach you how to drive properly you loon!

BTW I've updated the forum gallery . . .
