I have never done a sprint before. Any tips?
Same here, its going to be a steep learning curve. I think I will be out about this week practicing my launches

My local forecast is rain all week up to Thursday apart from today - so looks like I will be cleaning the car today then!

Phil - Show opens at 9am, can you confirm between what times we can arrive for the stand - I presume we have to enter prior to opening?

Will there be water available?

cheers

Don't forget to ask for your RS246 stand pass when you book kids.

At the moment the amount of people attending is quite low, it would be great if we could make a bit more of a show on both days if possible, so please get involved, after all its most peoples wishes to do more events like this, so please support it

Absolutely, so here's my confirmation :-

PhilT - RS6+ - Both days - Marriott Leicester (Room share with John) - 100%
johneroberts - GT3 - Both Days - Marriott Leicester (Room share with Phil) - 100%
DavidT - B5 S4 - Both days - Marriot Leicester, will share - 100%
GrahamS4 - B5 S4 - Sat Only - Travelling on the day - 100%
Dave - RS4 - Saturday 100%
CliveH & 2 Harpers - B5 S4 saloon - Saturday only 100%
Nige_RS4 - RS4 - Both Days - Marriott Leicester (room share with anyone but DavidT [joking!]) - 100%
Jog 100% + W7 PMC cant get a pass Sad + Love iTT Question - 2 x RS4 B7 ( Cab and Avant in Sprint Blue) - One day (Sunday)-
si_hill B5 S4 avant- One day (prob Sunday) - travel on the day 99.9%
Grizz rs6 - sat only with kids.

Sorry I can't make both days, but I did say 50%, so I think that's a fair result... Look forward to seeing both old and new faces.

Come on guys, it's not too late to book, and the weather is going to be cracking...

Maybe, but the online bookings are closed now.

So I have the same question as Ol - seems I dont have any option but to pay on the gate, but how do I get onto the club stand?

I bought a ticket for Saturday online earlier today but what with one thing and another don't expect to arrive much before midday.

For "club" on the booking form I clicked RS246 on the drop down list - does this mean I'll get a pass to the stand? If it does and arriving late is not a problem, do you guys want my car with yours or shall I hide it among the general public - after all it's not concours and even has some kerbing damage  to a couple of wheels and a supermarket car park ding in a door  . But it scrubs up OK :) . Perhaps there'd be some room at the back!

Anyway, whatever happens I'm looking forward to another good forum day and have an additional interest as a mk2 Golf GTi owner.

Well it's bad news guys (as far as stand passes are concerned). This is what I'm told :

"Unless you have booked online, there is no way to get a pass, and they won't budge.
No passes without corresponding ticket numbers - FULL STOP."

So unless someone at RS246 can persuade the organisers to be a bit more flexible, it looks like us latecomers will be in the paddock with the riff-raff...
