Will be there in an azure blue avant with wide wheels...

Any plans for food? Can do a Tesco trip beforehand if enough demand.

Food - I have no idea what's happening. Doug mentioned organising some - but he's a busy man. Haven't heard back from a pm I sent Friday.

All I can say is if you want to bring some sort of snack/refreshment and if you can bring anything you think might like to be shared, go for it.

Great day guys!

Thanks Doug for your hospitality.

Clive thanks for the demo of the vagcom.

Good to see familiar faces again and lots new. I tried to put as many names to faces as I could, but you know how it is. Like wise I tried to speak to everyone, but probably failed.

I now have now been there, "got the t-shirt" and the sticker!

Leon - I would loved to have spoken and taken a closer look at your car, but you were obviously occupied. Hope all is well?

Pics to come!

I am really sorry I was quite moody & not social today :? . I left my car with MRC a couple weeks ago to get Coilovers & ARB's fitted. I asked Doug to look at my hot start lack of power issue & a few other bits n bobs. They changed a couple valves etc but couldnt really get to the bottom of it. I collected it this morning & was horrified to hear the turbos making a very loud howling & rattling noise right from tickover

I came back and went out for a drive with Doug & then Mihnea. They had not heard the same noise when working on it but it was clear turbos are very near the end of their life. This is a real shock as I thought I had one of the most well maintained low mileage S4's on the forum & really didnt expect them to fail.

I had the N75 valve disconnected and limped home to mull over things and decide what I am going to do. :(
