Multimap says over an hour! So I guess you guys should allow 20 minutes or so...

Aha! Who's is the 3rd Clive? (I assume the other 2 are you and shineyD) ... I hope someone's got satnav 'cos I have no idea how to get to Thorney's place ....
Jules - as David said : ChrisS2

Having looked on the map, the place is about 30 miles almost due east of Banbury (early start for you guys... ), and not far off the M1, so not a lot of point us heading westwards (M42/M40) just to cut back across towards the M1.

For those without satnav (or with for that matter), the address is :-

Thorney Motorsport Ltd
Dunsby Road
Redmoor
Milton Keynes
MK6 4AD

Anyone else heading south on the M1, let us know and we'll find a suitable services to meet up...

Tweaking map friday a.m. ...losing a little boost so that needs to be sorted
How far is it to Thorney's from Dougs...30mins? Meet at 8ish?
Hmmm .... I'm working from home Friday .... think I may have to see if Doug's got 1/2 hr to spare on mine too - see if my timing can be advanced a little, squeeze as much as I can out of the old panzer before the RR session ... 8)

Might as well meet at 8 - i'm sure we can get there in under an hour  plus I guess we won't be running first thing - there's a few people ahead of us in the list.

P.S. Have you got satnav Adam? - I'm utterly hopeless at finding my way round, and can even get lost in a supermarket car park - so don't expect me to know the way there...

I think David is going to letting the VAGCOM volunteers know the the plan, but I just wanted to share a reminder to make sure you have your laptop, vagcom cable and any spare batteries/chargers you have ready for Saturday.

I'll be bringing my older laptop, but I do have 3 batteries for it (start charging tonight hence the post) and a car charger. Most laptops are luky to make half a day in constant use.

I'll be cleaning my windows and removing all the sweet wrappers (wife and kids used the car!) later today. That's my tweaking done.

Looking forward to this, it should be a good day!

Hi all, sorry I've not posted here but I've lost Davids email address and wanted to give you all an update.

Looking forward to getting you all here.

Firstly, butty van has been sorted, he'll be here all day for brekkie and lunch, no idea how good he is but my local B&Q seem to like him so thats good enough I guess :)

As regards the day, we're all sorted, as we do this by the day rather than by the car the mor organised everyone is then the better it is, we will try to sort all the AWD cars together with all the 2wd cars and ideally all the cars of the same type together as well as it means we can be more efficient in time taken per car in changeover.

As regards the runs, we will measure, diplay anything you like, from AF to boost to bhp, torque both at the wheels and the flywheel, remember that the more we print off the more time it takes so its your day do with it what you would like for the sake of everyone.

I've asked a Jamie from Superchips to come down as well as he knows a lot more about Audi issues, problems etc and we want to make sure everyone is ok. Craig from Richter is coming down too to give any help he can.

The plan is to run the dyno from 9am until 4pm with a half hour for lunch but we're pretty efficient and if we get the cars sorted in right order we can do up to 25 or so (we did 30 Vauxhalls in a day once but thats was a bit mad)
