I managed to get an instructor to take us round; f**k me it was good. Never knew the cars were that capable. Shows how truly bad I am at driving!

It wobbled at speed ... The rear passenger was busy counting cup holders and reclining like a ten bob hooker

It's definitely a car to be driven and entertained in.

Yeah I was checking out the cup holders, turning the four zone climate up a notch and admiring the carbon EVERYWHERE! My co pilot was Nige / Nigel, not sure what his user name is, recall he had an S3, we had hilarious fun in that S8!

Edit - no Doodlebug, you already have a dogging vehicle of your own!!

Can only echo what others have said...what a fantastic day! Never had the chance to do anything like that before and I absolutely loved it - thanks again to Phil for organising and to Audi UK for their hospitality.

Was great to see some familiar faces that I last met 3 years ago at the national B7 meet, and also some new faces - great bunch of people to spend a top day with. The convoy up from South Mimms was superb - there was some seriously rapid progress being made and the blast through the tunnel was deafening!

My favourite car of the day was the C7 RS6 - perfect all round package IMO...and I'd have one in a heartbeat if I could find a spare £80k

Like Nickyboy I also got the instructor to drive me round the alpine circuit late in the day in the S5 coupe...really shows what even the S cars are capable of if you know the track well & have better driving abilities than I do - he was giving it the full beans with plenty of tyre screeching, decent air over the jump and a smell of very hot brakes when we got back...awesome! :D

Big thanks Phil and Audi uk, nice to meet old and new people of the forum and spend the day with like minded enthusiasts,
highlights had to be the mental blast up through the hatfield tunnel,
160 in the RS6 and ragging the RS4 to top it off at the end of the day (the millbrook driver in that was the best).
Had the BEST day ever and have just finished writing my Christmas list!
Thanks again to Phil, was well chuffed.

Hi Guys,

Well, my first meet of what i'm hoping will be many with a great bunch of like minded people, great to put some names to faces.

What a fantastic day, came back up the M1 grinning from ear to ear, absolutely loving every minute of the 3 hour drive back to Leeds!

I have to say, I enjoyed the RS4 the most as the last drive of the day, absolutely 'on it'! Although the R8 and RS6 were epic, straight line dragging doesn't beat some negative, positive and lateral G!!

A huge thanks to Phil and Audi UK, deffo wont forget it in a hurry!

Some pics below of our quick dogging session in a lorry park on the way, gutted I could take some pics inside :-(

Fantastic day and thanks again to Phil and the Audi team!!!

Long day for me as I was up at 3.30 and didn't get back home until 8pm but well worth the trip.

At least I know what my next car is going to be (and me next boot purchase also)....

Busy looking at colours options as we speak - ah, the joys of motoring

I echo what the others have said. I've never had the chance to drive so many nice cars in one day and be allowed to push them a bit so it was a fantastic day. Thanks to Audi UK and Phil for organising this, you put on a proper good spread!

I managed to grab a late drive in the TTRS with the instructor who was more chilled out than anyone else. Think I got the biggest air in that one, bottomed it out, scrubbed the arches and screeched the tyres. Love the 5 pot warble. I don't know which one was my favourite. I was impressed by the gearboxes in most cars, instant changes with sometimes a little pop. I did notice a couple of times that just wouldn't change down when I wanted them too - too many revs?

It was great to see some old faces and some new ones. Until the next time!
