We're always a little nervous about taking money on the day as these events run on an absolute just break-even basis, so someone who has committed to coming and then not turning up makes quite an impact and it also means someone has to manage the cash on the day...

Don't be sure Damon. As Lee posted on the TT-F thread earlier in the week, "WE ARE ACCEPTING THE LAST ENTRIES FOR THIS EVENT AT 7PM TONIGHT 6TH FEB. " (his caps, not mine! ).

You'd already registered your interest, so you're on the list Assuming paying on the day is what you agreed with Lee (I thought you'd offered something else, but I've not gone over every member with him!) you're fine. Drop me an IM if you're at all concerned.

No it doesn't. The aim was to break even with the minimum number of cars, to ensure maximum track time and space for those attending. This isn't a commercial trackday out to make as much money as possible. Which is why we closed entries at all, and also why we closed at a lower number than we originally thought as the cost base changed
