What's the weather got to do with it? If it's really wet then you save your tyres, you learn more about the handling and you have a load of fun.

Still learning to handle the beast. Done Combe many times before in a previous life and I don't fancy driving on field carparks unless someone can point me to some tarmac parking

That's why we have Quattros :D It will all be grass parking unless you have a track/paddock pass in which case, no problem. I really wouldn't worry though. Are you concerned about getting stuck or dirty cos you certainly won't get stuck.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

My car will be on the MRC stand, so please come and say hello.

I'll get plenty of track time and if anyone wants a passenger ride, just ask.

Cheers, I'll do that.

Keith did the i/c's, oil cooler, cambelt service and exhaust for me last week. I recommend Dialynx very highly.

if you dont leave the black stuff by the third day you shouldn't really bother going again.

Best safety tip is to avoid the tracks with the close barriers on bends as you are much more likely to whack a barrier than someone else. Check out the track websites to see if they have open areas. Normally aerodrome based tracks have good space such as Bedford Autodrome (Jonathan Palmer), Buntingthorpe and Goodwood.
