That looks like a crash from Microprose Grand Prix, circa 1990, not real life!

I loved that game. 486i 50MHz, 4MB RAM. Happy days.

Just been looking at a few maps while watching this morning's practice session. Seems to be drying up but I'm a few hours behind live.

You probably know it like the back of you hand by now but here's as good a place as any to put them :)

I'm trying to imagine... does an RS4 get through Eau Rouge flat out or do you have to come off full throttle?

It's a genuine question! No laughing at the newbie

Surely 400hp can't haul 1700kg to a fast enough speed from La Source to cause a problem?

I must try and find a few track day vids...

I have only done sighting laps in the RS4, but it's not flat in the Exige.

I think the entry speed in the Exige is about 100mph.

There is plenty of time from La Source to have a big one.

You gonna have massive balls to be flat in an RS 4 up eau rouge at any decent speed!

Just found a youtube instructional - looks like a 911 of some description. He was braking beforehand, then going though at doing 90mph tops. http://youtu.be/VUA26M4H6Wo

Yeah, I'll probably take it a bit easier :nodder:

Mc12 was written off at Eau Rouge last year, having 2 days gives you plenty of time to get settled in without going too hard too soon.

We'll just be there for the Monday. No risk of either my dad or I trying too hard. I'm getting really excited though - first track day for either of us. Can't wait to see the other cars tear it up!! Hopefully theyr'e be some exotica passing on the straights.

GP2 feature race red flagged due to heavy rain after 2 laps.
