Darnit, the Chelski United game is on at 2pm! I can't remember the last time Sky showed a game at that time on a Saturday!!! Might have to catch the second half somewhere!

Great meeting; it's good to meet you all at last.

Cars, people and somewhere to meet; that's all it takes. Brilliant.

The car's post-MoT misfire sorted itself out, btw. I reckon Newbury Audi's new car cleaners were over zealous with the jet wash and got some of the electrickery a bit wet. The liberal application of under-bonnet heat cured it.

The car wasn't dirty when I took it there. Maybe I'll make a sign that says Please Don't Clean It.

See you at Castle Combe.

Jim's setup as I left and pulled over for him sounded the absolute feckin nuts!!!! That V8 sounds like it could raise hell. :D

Marky enjoyed the spin in mine and he couldn't stop grinning when the turbos wound up.

Was a good giggle it has to be said, Mikey thanks for my first spin in a B5 wow when those turbo's kick in you really do get a thud in the back. Made me miss my RS6 for the first time!

Glad you enjoyed the ride in mine, I have to say the sound track always puts a huge smile on my face especially with the Milltek :D

I can't make Castle combe but have a good one and hope to see you guys soon.

Phil I'll let you know what I get before the Bridge!! :bigblink:

I'm gutted that I couldn't make it, my wife was being very unreasonable about us going to our Niece's first birthday party ho-hum. I had been planning to bring along my Vagcom and have a play with the acceleration button and FATS times for those of you with the right connector, the offer of which is always open.

Jimbo - are you talking about the 'ring bridge or much closer to home the more infamous Link bridge? I would be very interested to know what you get to the latter ;)

Hope to be at the next one :D

This will be decibels you're talking about, no doubt.

My figures are:

1969 standard Mini Cooper 'S' 90
1997 standard (six cylinder supercharged) DB7 110
1995 standard RS2 120

I thought the Mini did well in its 40th year.
